Ostrusha mound

Ostrusha (mid-4th century BC) is the largest Thracian cult complex in the valley. The central chamber is cut from a single granite block; its ceiling is divided into coffers with plants, animals and the portrait of a young red-haired woman, the best-preserved fragment. A protective building covers the complex, so it works in bad weather too.
