Damascena rose complex

Roses / Skobelevo village, 20 km west

A rose distillery with tastings, a rose garden, museum and restaurant: the easiest place to see distillation outside the harvest.

A private complex run by a rose-oil producer. It shows old and modern stills, has a rose and lavender garden, a pond with water birds, a shop and a restaurant with local food. During the harvest (late May to mid-June) you can pick roses in the morning.

Good to know:

By car on the Pavel Banya road, then towards Skobelevo. A Kazanlak–Skobelevo bus runs from the bus station.
