A Thracian rock sanctuary with a stone 'door' that frames the sunset at the summer solstice. An easy trail and the best view over the valley.

The 'Through the Ages' trail starts at the edge of Buzovgrad (information board and parking) and reaches the rock 'gate', dated to the 2nd millennium BC, in 30–40 minutes. The ruins of the Buzovo Kale fortress are nearby. Fine for children; bring water, there is no shade at the top.

Good to know:

6 km south of Kazanlak. Drive through the village to the last houses, turn left, then right after the river to the board with the map.
