Train
- Kazanlak railway station
The Sub-Balkan line Sofia – Karlovo – Kazanlak – Sliven – Burgas. Direct trains to Sofia (about 4 h) and Burgas (about 3 h), and to Karlovo and Plovdiv with a change. Timetable and tickets: razpisanie.bdz.bg.
City buses

Driving & parking
Kazanlak is 2.5 h from Sofia (Trakia motorway to Stara Zagora, then road 5) and 1.5 h from Plovdiv. The centre has paid parking on working days; check the signs. Free car parks at the Museum of Roses (1 Voynishka St.) and Tyulbeto park.
Money

How to buy real rose oil
Genuine rose oil costs about €8–15 per 1 ml and comes in a sealed vial with the producer's label. If a €3 'oil' smells strong, it is scented carrier oil. Safe places to buy: the Museum of Roses shop, Damascena, Enio Bonchev.
